The Custom Data Reporting Tool allows users to selectively export data in UltraLinQ to a .csv file for analysis outside of UltraLinQ. This function can be accessed as follows: Admin > Reports > Study Data Report.
General
Name: Enter the name you'd like the file to be saved and exported with upon report completion.
Format: represents the format of the file upon export. At this moment, .csv is the only format available. Reminder: .csv can be converted to Excel upon export if desired.
Filter by Exam Type
Exam Type: Select an exam type you’d like the exportable data to be selected from. This filter is not required.
Select Additional Data
The data points available in the left table are from accounts studies and worksheets. To add a data point to a report, select the data point and click the right arrow. The right table will house all added data points.
Note: You cannot reorder data points once added. If a user would like to reorder, they must remove the data points using the left arrow, then re-add them in the desired order.
To create an actionable file of data, Ultralinq recommends added basic study information and patient demographics to the report at a minimum.
Filter by User
User Type: If you’d like to narrow the scope of study data by a specific Referring, Ordering, Technologist or Interpreting Physician, do so here. This filter is not required.
Filter by Data Range
Where Date is: Allows the user to select a data filter according to the Date of Service, Upload Date or Finalized Date. The Upload Date is the data an exam was uploaded into UltraLinQ. The Finalized Date is the date an exam is Finalized by a user in UltraLinQ.
The available date ranges for the “Where Date Is” are:
- The Last 7 Days: includes the last 7 days, including the current day
- All days of the Previous Month: includes data from the previous, completed month. For example, if today is February 15th, the report will run data from all on January.
- All days of the previous quarter: includes data from the previous, completed quarter. For example, if today is April 15th (In Q2), the report will run data from all of Q1 (January 1st to March 31st).
- Since: allows the user to select all data starting after a certain date
- Specific Dates: allows the user to select all data between two specific dates.
Sync:
Note: This is not currently a recommended feature. Please refrain from turning on and off.
Schedule:
Allows users to set scheduled, recurring reports. Note: If a user wants to run a report immediately, the Schedule section can be left blank, and the user must click “Generate”.
To schedule a recurring report, first click the “Recurring” checkbox. Once clicked, a selection of recurrence options will appear.
One or multiple options may be selected. Selecting a day of the week will generate the report on that day.
If an email address is entered in the “Email” field, the recurring report will be sent to the email address and will appear in UltraLinQ under Admin > Reports > “Scheduled Report” table. There will be a download link available once the scheduled report run is completed.
If no email address is entered in the “Email” Field, the recurring report will only show up in UltraLinQ under Admin > Reports > “Scheduled Report” table with a download link.
Monthly: this frequency option will run the previous month of data on the first of the following month. For example, a scheduled report of “Monthly” will send all of January’s data on February 1st (Note: subject to other applied filters).
Quarter: this frequency option will run the previous quarter of data on the first of the following quarter. For example, a scheduled report of “Quarterly” will send all of January, February and March’s data on April 1st. (Note: subject to other applied filters).
FAQs
Question #1: In recurrence, if I click every day of the week, and select to see the last "1" days of studies based on "Date of Service”, will that (for example) show me all of Monday's studies on Tuesday, Tuesday's studies on Wednesday, and so forth?
Yes. In this scenario, the reports will run at midnight and send the previous completed day of data.
Question #2: Will the data points shown only show my organization's worksheet and study data?
Answer: Yes, you will see only data points from your organization's worksheets and studies. No other customer data will appear here.
