Generating Reports

Account administrators can generate fax, study, and study data reports:

  • A fax report shows fax activity for a certain time period.
  • A study report shows a list of exams that match a certain parameter.
  • A study data report shows of list of exams that match a certain parameter as well as all worksheet data for those exams.

On the Reports page, you can also view a list of scheduled reports and previous reports.

  • Cancel a scheduled report by clicking the cancel link in the Scheduled Reports list.
  • Download a previous report by clicking the download link in the Previous Reports list.

Generate a fax, study, or study data report by following these steps.

  1. Navigate to the Admin page from the header link at the top of the page.
  2. Click the Reports link.
  3. Under the Generate a Report section, click Fax Report, Study Report, or Study Data Report.
  4. Use the form to enter parameters for the report. Required fields are marked by a *.

    Note: The screenshot below is for a fax report.

  5. Enter a file name for a report. This is a required field.
  6. For fax reports and study reports, select the report's file format from the drop-down list (CSV, PDF, or HTML). Study data reports are only available in CSV format.
  7. For fax reports and study reports, filter the report by user type by selecting an option from the drop-down list(Referring, Ordering, Sonographer, Interpreting). You can also filter the report for an individual user.
  8. Filter the report by date.
    1. You can filter by the date of service, uploaded date, or finalized date:
      • Filtering by date of service is recommended for tracking referring physician activity.
      • Filtering by uploaded date is recommended for reconciling your UltraLinq invoice.
      • Filtering by finalized date is recommended for tracking reading physician activity.
    2. Set a time period for the report, or select a specific date range.

      Note: Selecting the since or specific dates field enables a calendar. Click the date or dates on the calendar, then click Okay.

  9. Enter an email address that for receiving the report as an attachment. You can enter multiple email addresses, separated by commas.
  10. Reports can be generated immediately or scheduled to be generated at a future date. To schedule report generation for a future date, check the Recurring box. Additional options appear. Check the boxes to set when reports should generate. Reports can be generated on a specific day or days on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.

    Note: Report recurrence happens overnight. Reports generate on the day selected, and then date range settings are applied. For example, if your date range is set to the last 1 day, and you schedule the report to generate on Friday, you receive Thursday's report on Friday.

    Note: If the Monthly or Quarterly boxes are not checked, the report generates weekly.

  11. Click Generate, or click Schedule if the Recurring box is checked.
