UpLinq uses an encoding tool called FFMPEG to process files into JPEG and MP4 formats.
You can adjust the data rate of the encoding process to improve the playback quality of clips. This can fix long load times, extensive buffering, and "jerky" playback.
Adjust the data rate by following these steps.
- In Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\ProgramData\UltraLinq\UpLinq 2.7.3.
- Open UpLinq.ini.
- Scroll down until you reach the Compression section. The maxDataRate and bufferSize settings are linked. You must change both values to adjust the data rate.
- Set the maxDataRate value at 2000. Set the bufferSize value at 1000.
- Save your changes to the file. Close and reopen UpLinq to implement the new settings.
