There is a known issue with UpLinq and McAfee Total Protection, which causes a "Bad Image" error to appear when launching UpLinq. Solving this issue requires uninstalling McAfee Total Protection and reinstalling UpLinq. Using another antivirus program is recommended.
In Windows 10, uninstall McAfee Total Protection and reinstall UpLinq by following these steps.
- On the Windows Start menu, click Settings, and then click Apps.
- Select McAfee Total Protection, and then click Uninstall. Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Restart your computer.

- Restart your computer.
- Reinstall UpLinq. Follow the instructions in Installing UpLinq 2.7.8.
