Exporting Exams

NOTICE: Exports are automatically removed from UltraLinq after 15 days. However, once you download an export, it is available locally on your computer.

Export exams for local archiving. Exported exams can be viewed with UltraLinq’s Offline Viewer. The Offline Viewer is included as an application in export packages.

All users can export exams one at a time by Quick Export. Study administrators can export multiple exams by using Administrator Export.

Exports can be generated in ISO and ZIP formats. DICOM files can also be exported in addition to an ISO or ZIP export. By default, exams are exported as ISO files. ISO files are container files used to burn CDs and DVDs.

Note: You must have access to the exam you want to export.

Using Quick Export

NOTICE: Quick Export generates an export in ISO format.

  1. On the Exam page, make sure the patient and exam information fields are visible by clicking .
  2. Click . UltraLinq redirects to the Export page. Wait for the export to generate. Then click Download Export.

Using Administrator Export

Administrator Export exports multiple exams at once. Only study administrators can use Administrator Export.

Exporting DICOM Files

You can add DICOM files to an ISO or ZIP export.

Note: When DICOM files are included, the size of the export package increases. This can affect how many exams can be burned onto a CD or DVD. Find the estimated file size for an export on the Export page.

In Quick Export and Administrator Export, you must manually check the option Include DICOM files.

DICOM files must be imported into a third-party DICOM viewer. UltraLinq does not include a DICOM viewer in the export package.
